Whilst many guests choose to spend their time relaxing by the pool, relishing the lovely views and generally enjoying their villa's setting and facilities to the full, there is plenty on offer for the more actively minded. Keen walkers will find rewarding terrain right on their doorstep, whilst the local horseriding centre, just a kilometre or so from the villas, allows you to discover the countryside around Pendamodi on horseback.

The 18-hole championship course of the Crete Golf Club is just over half-an-hour's drive away near Hersonissos, whilst the water park Water City is closer still and provides a fun day out for all the family.

Those who prefer swimming in the sea can easily reach a variety of beaches by car; the nearest, at Amoudara, is just 15km away. The beaches along the north coast offer a full range of resort facilities including a selection of water sports and family entertainment. On the other side of the mountains, the south coast boasts many lesser-known and undeveloped beaches, as well as low-key resorts such as Matala with its distinctive beachside caves.
